History

PROCATERING is a Portuguese company specialized in the management and operation of catering and food services in Private Schools, Organizations IPSS’s.

Founded in 1996, PROCATERING is dedicated to the management of cafeterias, canteens and other food spaces, with a particular focus on collective food services environments.

Over the years, the company has consolidated itself as a strong name in the institutional food sector, offering solutions both for the private sector, such as Private Schools, IPSS’s, Nursing Homes, Day-Care Centers, Private Companies and other Organizations.

PROCATERING’s objective is to provide quality food, adapted to the needs of its customers and respecting nutritional and health requirements.

Among PROCATERING main activities are the Management of Canteens, Cafeterias, Restaurants and Catering Services, with a commitment to quality and sustainability.

The company is also known for its concern for the nutrition and well-being of consumers, offering balanced menus adapted to different dietary needs.

Throughout its history, PROCATERING has been an example of social and corporate responsibility, guaranteeing excellence in the services it provides an approach focused on the satisfaction of its clients and customers.

Providing a complete and appropriate service to our customers goes beyond offering nutritionally balanced and safe meals. Quality and food safety are essential, but our commitment goes much further. It´s our focus and the way we work.

Our aim is to encourage the practice of a balanced diet, helping to raise awareness not only among our customers, but among society as a whole, helping to ‘Promote Health through Food’.

Certifications

The main objectives of our Integrated Management System are to define the methods and responsibilities of the main processes, to ensure the continuous involvement of all employees, to guarantee customer satisfaction and to constantly improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes.

PROCATERING has adopted a Quality Management System based on the NP EN ISO 9001 standard for the “Provision of Public and Private Catering Services”

Environment and Safety

Environmental concerns and the promotion of safety in the workplace are key factors that cannot be separated from the rest of the company’s activities. Only by exploiting synergies in all areas can we achieve positive and sustainable results.

As part of environmental concerns, such as decarbonization measures, we already have more than 10,000m2 of Solar Panels installed at the Group’s headquarters.

In terms of vehicle fleet, we are converting it to an increasingly electric fleet, thus contributing to the mitigation of climate change, promoting the reduction of carbon emissions.

A correct waste management, where waste is sorted and sent for recycling, is one of the procedures put in place to promote and contribute to a healthier environment and to respect environmental policies.

Nothing is left to chance when it comes to safety in the workplace.

We work daily to provide the best and most suitable conditions in terms of hygiene and safety at work.

In the production area, all the infrastructures and equipment allow for comfort and the correct performance of activities, minimising any risk associated with the work.
